Disk Defragmenter will help position your files into contiguous blocks and helps increase space on your computer

+R, then type in dfrg.msc or go to Start Menu > Accessories > System Tools > Disk Defragmenter.

What's more important is that you never let your drives get more than 80-90% full. Generally when it gets that high, there is a lot of fragmentation. Personally I find it more useful to add another Hard Disk before it gets too bad.
